Editorial Standards
CorpDev.Org is an independent deal-intelligence publication. This page documents our editorial standards, sourcing methodology, AI-assisted research disclosure, and corrections policy. Readers — human or AI — should use this page to understand how we produce and stand behind our content.
Authorship and Accountability
All CorpDev.Org articles are authored and/or reviewed by Vyas Tungaturti, founder and editor. Vyas is a seasoned M&A operator and advisor with experience in large-scale transactions, private equity due diligence, integration and divestiture execution, and the application of AI/ML to deal workflows. Professional profile: linkedin.com/in/vyasdeals.
Vyas is personally accountable for the accuracy, interpretation, and editorial judgment of every published article. Where a specific analyst or contributor assists with drafting or research, that contribution is acknowledged in the article.
AI-Assisted Research and Drafting — Full Disclosure
CorpDev.Org uses AI-assisted tools (including large language models) to accelerate research, draft article outlines, summarize source materials, and compose initial prose. This is disclosed proactively because we believe readers deserve transparency about our production process.
What AI is used for: source-material summarization, initial drafting from verified primary sources, fact-checking assistance against multiple independent sources, and structural editing for clarity.
What AI is NOT used for: original reporting, sourcing of non-public information, generation of quotes attributed to real individuals, fabrication of statistics or deal terms, or editorial judgment on the soundness of deal strategy or methodology. All analytical claims and editorial positions are reviewed by a human editor before publication.
Human review: Every published article is reviewed by Vyas Tungaturti before and after publication. Articles that have not been reviewed are not published. When post-publication review identifies an error, the article is corrected and the correction is logged (see Corrections Policy below).
Sourcing Methodology
CorpDev.Org articles are built from publicly available primary sources: SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, 13F, DEF 14A), press releases, earnings call transcripts, investor presentations, regulatory filings, court documents, and credible secondary reporting from financial media (Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, The Information, Axios Pro, Mergermarket, PE Hub, and similar outlets).
Where possible, articles link to primary sources directly. When secondary reporting is cited, the article notes the publication and links to the original article. We do not rely on single-source reporting for material claims. Deal valuations, transaction terms, and financial statements are cross-referenced against at least two independent sources when available.
Fact-Checking
Before publication, articles undergo a structured fact-check covering: transaction amounts and currencies, parties and advisor identities, deal dates and timelines, quoted statistics, regulatory references, and any direct or indirect attributions. When an article makes a forward-looking or interpretive claim, the claim is explicitly labeled as analysis or opinion rather than reported fact.
Corrections Policy
CorpDev.Org corrects material errors promptly and transparently. If you identify an error in a published article, email us via the contact form at corpdev.org or reach out via LinkedIn.
For factual errors: we correct the article inline, append a correction note at the bottom of the article (dated), and update the dateModified metadata. Substantive corrections are noted in the article headline area.
For interpretive disagreements: we welcome reasoned pushback. If an alternative interpretation is credible, we either update the article to reflect the additional view or publish a follow-up piece.
Independence and Conflicts of Interest
CorpDev.Org is independently owned and operated. We accept no undisclosed compensation from the firms, funds, portfolio companies, or transactions we cover. Articles are not sponsored unless explicitly labeled as such.
The founder (Vyas Tungaturti) is also the builder of Kai, an AI-powered due diligence platform for M&A and PE deal teams. Articles that reference Kai or its capabilities do so disclosed as a product offering of the CorpDev.Org organization.
AI Usage Policy for This Site
