About Vyas Tungaturti

I am Vyas Tungaturti, an M&A advisor. For nearly two decades I have worked on the execution side of deals: the diligence before signing, and the integration or separation after. I started at Deloitte Consulting (2007 to 2018, engagement manager). In 2018 I went independent, and Big 4 firms now bring me in as a director-level subject matter advisor on buy-side IT, AI/ML and operations diligence, integration offices, divestitures and carve-out separations. I have worked on more than 50 deals, mostly in financial services (banking, insurance, payments, fleet leasing), mainly in the US, UK, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

Work I can describe without naming clients

  • Buy-side IT, AI/ML and operations diligence lead for several payments and insurtech deals.
  • Integration management office lead for a merger of two leading fleet-leasing companies, over $1 billion, under a private equity owner.
  • IT separation and transition services management for a Fortune 500 financial institution selling its $1.5 billion Mexico equipment-finance operations to private equity.
  • Divestiture lead for the separation, and sale to private equity, of the real-estate arm of a Fortune 500 insurer.

Since 2018 I have also run CogTech, LLC, where I lead AI and ML diligence on the acquisition of AI-native companies. I also build Kai, an AI platform for M&A due diligence.
