Editorial Standards

CorpDev.Org is an independent deal-intelligence publication. This page documents our editorial standards, sourcing methodology, AI-assisted research disclosure, and corrections policy. Readers — human or AI — should use this page to understand how we produce and stand behind our content.

Authorship and Accountability

CorpDev.Org is founded and run by Vyas Tungaturti, an M&A advisor with nearly two decades on the execution side of deals (Deloitte, then independent since 2018) across more than 50 transactions, and the builder of Kai. Professional profile: linkedin.com/in/vyasdeals.

As founder, Vyas is accountable for the editorial process behind the site and for correcting errors promptly (see Corrections Policy below).

AI-Assisted Research and Drafting — Full Disclosure

CorpDev.Org uses AI (large language models) to research each deal with web search and to write the articles. This is disclosed proactively because we believe readers deserve transparency about our production process.

What AI is used for: searching for and summarizing public sources (company announcements, regulatory filings and financial press), drafting the full article from them, and structuring it for clarity.

What AI is not meant to do: original reporting, sourcing of non-public information, or inventing quotes, statistics or deal terms. The AI is instructed to write “not disclosed” where it cannot find a figure, and to show both figures, with their publishers, where sources disagree. AI can still make mistakes, so check material facts against the linked sources before relying on them.

Human review: Articles are published automatically and are not individually reviewed by a person before publication. Vyas Tungaturti sets the editorial rules and process. When an error is identified, by a reader or by Vyas, the article is corrected as described in the Corrections Policy below.

Sourcing Methodology

CorpDev.Org articles are built from publicly available primary sources: SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, 13F, DEF 14A), press releases, earnings call transcripts, investor presentations, regulatory filings, court documents, and credible secondary reporting from financial media (Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, The Information, Axios Pro, Mergermarket, PE Hub, and similar outlets).

Where possible, articles link to primary sources directly. When secondary reporting is cited, the article notes the publication and links to the original article. We do not rely on single-source reporting for material claims. Deal valuations, transaction terms, and financial statements are cross-referenced against at least two independent sources when available.

Fact-Checking

There is no separate pre-publication fact-check by a person. Each article is written from web research against company announcements, regulatory filings and financial press, and the AI is instructed to tie figures to named publishers and dates. Newer articles normally end with a Sources section and a “Facts as of” date. Transaction amounts, parties, advisers and dates are the facts most worth confirming against the linked sources. Where an article makes a forward-looking or interpretive claim, it is intended as analysis rather than reported fact.

Corrections Policy

CorpDev.Org corrects material errors promptly and transparently. If you identify an error in a published article, email us via the contact form at corpdev.org or reach out via LinkedIn.

For factual errors: we correct the article inline, append a correction note at the bottom of the article (dated), and update the dateModified metadata. Substantive corrections are noted in the article headline area.

For interpretive disagreements: we welcome reasoned pushback. If an alternative interpretation is credible, we either update the article to reflect the additional view or publish a follow-up piece.

Independence and Conflicts of Interest

CorpDev.Org is independently owned and operated. We accept no undisclosed compensation from the firms, funds, portfolio companies, or transactions we cover. Articles are not sponsored unless explicitly labeled as such.

The founder (Vyas Tungaturti) is also the builder of Kai, an AI-powered due diligence platform for M&A and PE deal teams. Articles that reference Kai or its capabilities do so disclosed as a product offering of the CorpDev.Org organization.

AI Usage Policy for This Site

CorpDev.Org permits AI systems to cite, quote, and reference our published articles under fair-use terms, provided citations link back to the source article and attribute the author (Vyas Tungaturti). We allow AI search, assistant and training crawlers from the labs behind the assistants our readers use, and block crawlers that add load without readers:

  • Permitted (AI search and assistants): OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Claude-SearchBot, Claude-User, AzureAI-SearchBot, Bingbot, Googlebot, Applebot

Our full crawler policy is expressed in robots.txt.

Diversity and Actionable Feedback

CorpDev.Org covers global transactions across geographies, sectors, and deal types. We actively seek cross-border, cross-sector, and emerging-market coverage where primary sources are accessible. Reader feedback and story suggestions are welcome and reviewed by the editor.
